Behavior Technician - Paid Training ABAT RBT
🕚 Flexible Part-Time shifts available in the Morning, Afternoon, or Evening (M–F, MWF, or TTH/Sat)
💳 Starting rate: $20–21.25/h (More info)
▶ 40 hours of paid training designed to meet ABAT (Applied Behavior Analysis Technician) and RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Board standards.
▶ After completing the 40 hours of paid training, candidates will be awarded a certificate of completion from TBU for QABA, satisfying all ABAT/RBT training requirements.
🌟 Candidates will also complete supervised fieldwork toward meeting certification requirements:
▶ Completion of the 40-hour paid training qualifies candidates to sit for the RBT/ABAT certification exams. ABSI covers the cost of the exam for the first attempt.
▶ Shadowing and overlapping with experienced team members to gain hands-on experience and ensure confidence and success as a certified ABAT or RBT.

40 Hours Paid Training
The training curriculum offered by ABSI follows stringent ABAT requirements. In an effort to meet the busy schedules of our candidates, our training is set up to be completed online. As you work through our robust modules, what you are learning will also be merged with “in the field experience”. To further prepare our candidates, Behavior Technician candidates overlap with Technicians already working in the field. These experienced clinicians oversee you regarding the best practices of your role as an ABAT, and prepare you to work with clients of your own.
Certification
After you’ve completed your Behavior Technician training you will then be awarded a certificate from TBU FOR QABA. This organization's standards meet the stringent requirements of the ABAT certification.
Exam Support
Candidates first ABAT exam attempt will be paid for by Autism Behavior Services, Inc.. In addition to study materials provided by Autism Behavior Services, Inc., you will also have clinicians and other ABATs as direct resources to discuss any questions and help with potential trouble areas should you need any assistance.
