40 Hours Paid Training
ABSI’s training curriculum follows strict ABAT/RBT board requirements. We know that our Behavior Technician candidates schedules are extremely busy. This is why the majority of our training is structured to be completed online. As you make your way through our robust training modules, what you learn will dovetail with “in the field experience”.
To prepare our candidates further, team members will overlap with others already in the field. The goal of this is to provide the experience you need to work in the field with clients as well as clinicians. The lead clinicians on the cases will help guide you in the best practices of your ABAT role, and get you ready to take on clients of your own.
Certification
Once your Behavior Technician training has been completed you will be awarded a certificate from TBU FOR QABA. This organization's standards meet the strict requirements set by the ABAT/RBT board.
Exam Support
Your first ABAT exam attempt will be paid for by Autism Behavior Services, Inc.. ABSI will also furnish you with study materials.
Additionally, you will have clinicians and other ABATs who have sat for the exam as resources so you can discuss any questions, and illuminate areas in your studying where you might need assistance.
