Mara Pinzon

Mara Pinzon graduated from California State University, Northridge with a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies-Teacher Preparation Option. Her undeniable passion for working with children lead her to focus her courses in human development studies, minoring in child growth and development. Mara has always known that she wanted to work with children, but it was in her sophomore year that she was drawn to work with children with special needs.

Since 2006, she has been working with children with autism and has also volunteered to help at-risk students in Kindergarten Intervention Programs in Los Angeles. She plans to continue her studies and pursue a Master’s degree in Special Education.

Mara’s work and education, including thorough training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), along with her experiences as a mother, has contributed to her passion for the work she does with children. Her enthusiasm and interest in understanding children has molded her to become an effective and compassionate behavior interventionist. She understands that all children are unique and her goal is to cater to the individual needs of every child; always supporting and facilitating their growth and development.

Mara spends her free time with her family. She loves going to the beach, parks, playgrounds and places where she can enjoy quality time with her son and husband.
